Pat turned, his face flushed with excitement and rain. "We have to call the police. We have to call the Guards!"This book is told in two stories with the author's point of view, that eventually turn into one. Pat and his best friend Sean are orphans who just witnessed the kidnapping of the head of Oliver Plunkett, Primate of Ireland. However, Sean wants nothing of it so Pat sets out on an adventure to recover it. Eddie is a boy trying to form his own gang and to also avoid the Resivoir Pups while dealing with his mom's boyfriend. After a short time, Eddie befriends Pat and who helps him, along with his friend Mo and a friend from his school, Gary.
